Madison Story

The camera work in the story is really interesting because when they first start filming they only do shots of her head, or upper body. You don't realize at first that she doesn't have an arm until they actually get to that part in telling the story. After they tell you that she does have an arm they show shots of all the activities that she is able to do without it. When they interviewed the football coach, he was in the weight room which was a nice background for him.

Madison's story is really unique and inspiring. Not many people in her position would be as positive as she is. It was positive message and was told really nicely.

Story on Classmate

Brett Hestness is a sixteen year old high school student at Eastview high school.   His daily schedule is every similar to any other high schooler. He wakes up, goes to school, goes to a sport practice after school, and after that depending on whether or not he has time he hangs out with friends, then goes home has dinner, does homework, goes to bed, and repeats his daily routine throughout his week.  According to Brett, starting high school was an event that has changed his life.  He says that, “I have met so many new people in high school” and Brett most definitely has.  Around the halls of Eastview high school, Brett is very well known. He has made many friends since he has started high school and most of his friends would say that he is out going, friendly, disorganized and athletic.
Brett is a one of a kind athlete here at Eastview high school. He is a three sport athlete, which is hard to come by these days.  While most kids put their focus and energy into one sport, Brett is well round in three.  In the fall he plays football, winter he wrestles and in the spring he plays lacrosse. Brett is has worked very hard in his athletics and has even been able to wrestle varsity as sophomore. He also hopes that this year he will be pulled up to play at the varsity level for lacrosse.   Brett has been, and continues to be successful in his athletics.  It will be exciting to watch Brett develop over the next two years.
